The Safe Space;
T H E S A F E S P A C E |
![]() ![]() ![]() The Safe Space is exactly what it says on the tin: it's a safe space for you to share your thoughts and feelings! There are many rooms for you to choose from, depending on what you need. If you want to sit down and talk one-on-one with one of the counselors, each of them have their own office (detailed in the comments below). In each one, the windows can be tinted at your discretion, the lights brightened or lowered to suit your mood, and the privacy wards set in place by the original ship's counselor are still intact. Or, if you'd rather spend time in a bigger, more casual space, there is a sitting room-slash-lounge, which looks remarkably like a cluttered living room right out of the 1950s (see: second picture). If instead you just need a quiet place to get away from the daily hubbub of the ship, in the lobby (see: third picture), there is a corner lined with bookshelves and filled with colorful bean bag chairs, as well as a massage chair! (One of the books is titled Who Moved My Cheese?) You don't even need an appointment to use this area, but do feel free to notify the attendant counselor so they can make sure you aren't disturbed! Or, if you need the opposite, and are looking for a secure place to vent some frustrations, there is a soundproofed room and a supply of objects -- some sturdy, some breakable -- that you're welcome to huck around. If you would instead rather meet with one of the counselors outside of the Safe Space, but don't have a preference on which counselor you talk to, you can either make an appointment with whichever counselor is available in the Safe Space at the time, or there is a small box attached to the front door where you can put in a request. If you wish to meet with a counselor on a day the Safe Space is closed, please contact a counselor via MID (see below)! Hours: Sunday - CLOSED Monday - 10 AM - 12PM, 2PM - 4PM and 6PM - 8PM Tuesday - 10 AM - 12PM, 2PM - 4PM and 6PM - 8PM Wednesday - 10 AM - 12PM, 2PM - 4PM and 6PM - 8PM Thursday - 10 AM - 12PM, 2PM - 4PM and 6PM - 8PM Friday - 10 AM - 12PM, 2PM - 4PM and 6PM - 8PM Saturday - CLOSED |
Counseling Operatives
WANDA
Contact Information: MID Inbox
Counseling Style:
- Very intuitive. Wanda's telepathic, so she may attempt to read anything your character is projecting.
- Good listener but comfortable helping talk things out.
- Like Elle, hugs are optional but encouraged.
- Tends to hide the mental aspect of her powers until she trusts your character, but will offer to use them to help if she does.
- This includes soothing visions or inducing sleep/preventing nightmares.
- Will probably offer tea and maybe a small snack.
- Available off-hours unless she's out doing the Avenger thing and rescuing people.
Office Description: Basically, this. There's a working fountain that was glassed in the Ingress malfunction for ambience and a small tea shelf.
